One Fun Week of Summer... So Far

Once upon a time....

six little Lundgreen kids sat staring out the window in boredom. "Mother, oh Mother, I'm so terribly bored! Why does school have to be out?" they would always say.

Uh, excuse me? So far, this summer has been great!

MONDAY: First we went on a bike ride. The weather was magnificent, and we got to have delicious McDonald's vanilla ice cream. Later we went to the Ray's and went swimming in their awesome pool, had hot dogs, and learned a little about the soldiers and other stuff related to Memorial Day.

TUESDAY: We went to the Chandler train park... the train was closed... but we got to get soaked in our clothes (NO. NOT SWIMSUITS.) at the water area, even though we had absolutely no towels. We, afterwards, dried off at the huge playground and then went to Sam's Club to get slurpies. Later that day, we went with the cousins to the Drive Inns and saw Narnia: Prince Caspian and didn't get home until 11:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY: We went over to the cousin's house and played Freeze Dance, put make-up on the little girls, and made nails become magnetic. After that we went to the library and checked out twenty-five books.

I'd say this summer is turning out great!
