So a couple weeks ago when I was at school Eric would not get out from under the bed.
Mom: Eric, come out right now.
A little rustle from under the bed, but no Eric.
Mom: Eric! Come out!
A little rustle, but no Eric.
Mom: Eric! if you don't come out right now, you'll get no dessert when it's a dessert night!
Little rustle.....
Mom: ERIC! COME OUT RIGHT NOW OR YOU'LL HAVE NO DESSERT FOR TWO NIGHTS!
She pulled him out.
Eric: You found me! (little smile)
Mom: You get no dessert for two nights!
Eric: What?! I get no dessert for two nights?!
He hadn't heard a single word of it.
