Jewel the Barker

As you most likely know, my mom breeds dogs. She makes sure the dos have all their clearences (makes sure they are healthy) and sells the puppies for about $1800, I think (That may sound expensive, but these are no pet-store pups. My mom pays tons of money to check their parents for health issues that could be passed onto the puppies and breed them, and they are raised in a way that makes sure they are well-behaved.). She also has a website, http://www.desdiagoldens.com/. After the dog has had a good amount of litters (about 2 or 3 MAYBE 4), she retires and sells them.

My mom sold Jewel, but Jewel would come back for a short little while when she was ready for one more litter. The other day the people took Jewel over here (since she was ready to be bred), and what do you know? She barked. Of course, we weren't at all surprised to hear her bark- she's always drove my parents nuts because she's bark, bark, bark her head off! But the people who bought her gasped and said, "We didn't even know she could bark!"
